When is it a good time to think about glazing for my project?
For new extensions and building work the sooner the better as we may need to agree with you/your builder specific details relating to your new doors. Flush thresholds are a good example. If you are replacing your existing windows and doors then this process is easier as we are working to existing openings.
Are your windows made-to-order?
Yes. We do not offer any off-the-shelf stock sizes. Every one of our products is made to your precise sizes, colour and configuration.
Do you need to visit my property to prepare a quotation?
With so many projects now being extensions, we often quote off drawings, specifications and sizes. If you need us to visit your property, we are happy to do so.

What guarantees do you offer with your windows and doors?
We provide you with a peace-of-mind 10-year guarantee. Some of our products such as our Origin range also come with 20-year manufacturer guarantee. You also get other warranties such as glass, integral blinds, or the powder-coated surface. We will clarify our warranties with our quotation.
I live on the Kent/Sussex Coast. How long will my windows last?
For coastal properties or those in severe weather locations, we always suggest talking through your project. There are both marine grade and marine certified finishes. There are also higher grade handles and fixings available. It is also important our manufacturers are aware of doors or windows in coastal locations to ensure correctly sealed joints and other considerations. Yes, aluminium windows are perfectly suitable for coastal locations. As standard, our powder coating guarantees are 10-15 years but there are longer guarantees subject to approval. These guarantees are subject to routine and correct cleaning and maintenance.
How secure are your windows and doors?
All our products come designed by established UK and international systems companies who test and certify their products before they’re brought to market. Every product comes meeting the appropriate industry standards relevant to windows, doors and glass. Contact us for information about specific products.
How energy efficient are aluminium windows and doors?
All of our products are energy efficient and meet current Building Regulations for thermal performance and energy efficiency. We only supply insulated aluminium profiles combined with high specification glass units.
Do you use sub-contract installers?
No. We are a family business and employ all our staff and installers.
My windows and doors are South-facing. Will my room be too hot?
We offer a range of glass options such as integral blinds, solar control glass and other solutions. We can explain the various options when you get in touch with us.
Can I have a flush threshold on my new doors?
Yes. All our sliding and bifolding door products come with solutions for giving you that desirable seamless link to your patio or garden. Different products have different thresholds, drainage and weather protection requirements. For existing openings, we explain what’s needed, for new openings we can liaise with your builder.
Can I choose my own colours for frames, handles and gaskets?
All our aluminium products come in a vast range of colours. Our Origin products also come with wood effect finishes. For handles, we offer a range of styles and handle colours. Origin is unique having bifolding and single/French doors come with a choice of gasket colour. Our remaining products come with black gaskets.
