Product Features
Hardware
Floor to ceiling glazing typically comprises large fixed units therefore without common hardware found on casement, and other types of opening windows.
Every window comes hand-assembled with cut-to-size components ready for site installation. Features such as internal glazing beads, trickle ventilation to the heads, frame extension pieces and other ancillary profiles all add to the many features and options available with floor-to-ceiling windows.
Glass
Quality glass units are a core component of large picture windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing. We always use toughened safety glass or laminated glass to suit the sizes, location and weather factors.
Glass units come with warm-edge spacer bars, a soft coat low-emissivity coating and argon gas-fill. AS with all our window and door products, there are options for solar control and acoustic glazing. There is even tinted and self-cleaning glass. Therefore your large panoramic windows not only look great as a modern window but also create more secure or comfortable rooms.
Colour
Using the same powder-coating technology used in our sliding doors and windows, floor-to-ceiling glazing offers the same extensive choice of colour with low-maintenance properties.
Subject to the product used, there are upgrades to textured, woodgrain and even anodised metallic finishes making these windows ideal for any style of home or interior decor.
Energy Efficiency
All our glass units come as standard with low U-Values contributing to making your expansive and panoramic glazing highly energy efficient. Typical centre pane figures of 1.2Wm2K come with most of our glass.
These low U-values found in our glass units work with the thermally insulated frames to improve your home with a wall of glass that is strong, secure and very energy-efficient.
