Polyamide thermal breaks insulate the high quality aluminium profiles.  The powder coated finish is marine-grade, thicker than standard powder coated finishes and offers low maintenance properties, with just simple occasional cleaning needed. 

The high quality craftsmanship of every Origin product is further demonstrated by the engineering.  The rollers are some of the best available in the door industry with an innovative self-levelling feature.  These self-adjust in situations such as a slightly unevenly built new opening. As well as this, all the sliding gear is hidden from view for a neater look especially on the more visible door track. 

The handles use come in marine grade 316L stainless steel with equally advanced fixings. These materials are built to withstand even coastal environments. 

The overall appearance of this slimline patio door offers reduced sightlines, maximising the the glass which comes toughened as standard for safety and security.

Security & Performance

Our doors meet current Building Regulations for thermal performance, with U-Values as low as 1.8 W.K for double glazed doors or 1.2 Wm2K for our triple glazed product. Therefore these doors come engineered and designed for the best in security, safety and energy efficiency.

Every door comes fully sealed with EPDM gaskets and brush pile sealing the door shut and protecting your home from the winter weather, with excellent air, wind and water penetration properties. 

Multi-point locks as standard providing excellent security and doors come tested to the rigorous security standards of PAS 24:2016 too. The door cylinders are secure, resistant to picking, bumping, snapping or drilling. 

Internal security beads secure the glass meaning your doors have an extra layer of security.

The tops of the door are engineered to sit tight within the frame for weather resistance while making open and closing light. The door handles have one of the highest grades of stainless steel designed for extreme coastal environments. And the door locks come from high-grade metals, extensively cycle tested for durability, reliability and safety. Even the door seals at every critical point are engineered for optimum weather performance by helping to keep your door sealed and your home warm and dry.

Glass

The glass units in your new doors come from the best glass processors and manufacturers. Standard glazing comprises toughened safety glass, having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. 

We offer all manner of glass upgrade options to suit your specific needs and the location of your doors. Integral blinds housed between the glass offer enhanced privacy and shade while also improving the thermal performance of the glass. Laminated glass provides an extra layer of security and there is even glass for acoustics, to prevent fading furniture and fabrics as well as solar control or reflective glass.

Colour

Origin sliding doors come with luxurious powder-coated finishes, professionally applied by certified and approved applicators.

We offer a range of standard colours on faster installation times with the full RAL colour range of slightly longer, made-to-order lead times. Popular colours include Grey 7016M, Black 9005M, Lighter Grey 7015M and White 9910G. The colours come in matt finishes with made-to-order gloss or satin shades and come with a full warranty.
