Using the same highly insulated aluminium powder coated profiles, bay windows and screens utilise additional sections, creating the square or curved window.

Matching colour bay poles, coupling sections and other profiles connect together, creating an attractive window with matching mitred window cill. Externally you get an attractive finish with the inside of the window suitably trimmed and finished off.

Our bay windows replace existing old windows as well as your new extension.

Personalise your new bay windows with a great choice of colours including woodgrain finishes on our Origin range of windows.

Origin bay windows come with 10 different colour options on the handles. Choose from Slate Grey, Anthracite Grey, Black Grey, Jet Black, Dark Metallic Silver, White, Brushed Aluminium, Chrome, Gold or Satin. We can even colour match the handles to your window frames for a uniform look throughout.

Your glass choices extend to options for enhanced security, privacy and shade as well as acoustic and solar protection. Choose from double or triple glazing.

For houses in city centres or prone to noise, talk to us about our acoustic glass options. For enhanced security, laminated glass provides an additional layer or protection with improved acoustics too. For south facing elevations we offer a choice of solar glass options such as tinted glass or glass designed to reduce the effect of the sun’s rays on your furniture or fabrics.

Security & Performance

Origin OW-80 bay windows come with the trust Yale Encloser lock brand. A highly security multi-point lock with cylindrical cams engaging into secure window keeps. The window lock is operated with a lockable window handle.

Alitherm bay windows come with multi-point esagnolette bolts with locking handles in a choice of colours.

All bay windows meet or exceed Building Regulations for thermal performance on windows.

Hardware

Our bay windows in either the Origin or Alitherm ranges come with sophisticated and high quality window hardware. Every component is designed for the product from the frame corner pieces right through to the locks and handles and any window accessories.

All windows come with a mechanical corner construction using purpose-designed cleats and chevrons. These create strong and weather-resistant window corner joints.

Smart Systems uses quality locks and handles from the best hardware manufacturers. Our Origin windows use the trusted Yale lock and suitable handle. As a result, any of our bay windows come with all the high performance of their casement counterparts in larger designs.

Other window options include trickle vents to meet current Building Regulations and a selection of additional aluminium sections such as cills, trims and tailored solutions. Your new bay windows, therefore, protect as well as enhance your home, operating faultlessly for years to come.

Glass

Both Origin and Alitherm bay windows come with glass units having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. Low-level glass is toughened at all times and where windows sit beside doors. Triple glazing is available on both window collections.

You can customise your window glass with patterned glass for bathrooms and cloakrooms. Or enhance ground floor window security with a laminated glass upgrade.

Colour

Your new bay windows come comes with a luxurious powder-coated surface finish in over 150 different RAL colours. Alitherm windows also come with the optional Alchemy and Sensations range of colours, exclusive to these windows. These new colours offer texture and alternative colour pallets, letting you personalise your windows even more. Origin bay windows come with the same durable powder-coated treatment including the latest woodgrain colours in walnut, rosewood, mahogany and oak.

Energy Efficiency

This low E glass in our bay window products enhances our quality bay windows. The glass reflects heat back into your room and makes the most of sunlight outside. All our glass comes with a low U-Value as standard, creating an overall window that saves you money on your heating bills and helps you enjoy a more comfortable room.

Energy ratings for windows vary given the diverse range of bay designs but all our windows use the same combinations of frame, glass and construction.
