Hardware
The high-end Schuco ASS70 sliding patio door is designed to provide the best slide action in a high-engineered sliding door. This advanced door comes with the optional Schuco SmartStop and Smart Close technology giving you anti-slam and soft-close features.
Lift and slide hardware lets the door raise and lower by the door handle. Slide the door to any position, rotate the handle and the door locks. This lift and slide technology lets you lock the door in the partially open position for ventilation. The doors come with an integrated five-point lock and security door cylinder. Stainless steel wheels, steel or aluminium handles and even steel in the base rails all contribute to the strength and high performance of the luxury ASS70 sliding door.
You benefit from one of the most technically superior sliding doors on the market, with innovation, ease of use, high security and one of the smoothest slide action of any patio door.
Glass
With panel sizes of up to 3m wide and 3m high, the glass in these doors is not only safe and secure but also of the best quality. Toughened or laminated glass offers you excellent clarity.
As standard, our doors come with sealed units having warm edge spacer bars around the edges. Inside the unit is argon gas, improving the thermal performance. Then the glass comes with a soft-coat low-emissivity coating to reflect heat into the room.
Enhance your doors with optional integral glass blinds, solar control glazing, acoustic glass or enhanced security laminated glass. Therefore, a Schuco door offers flexible options for security and comfort.
Colour
Every one of our Schuco bifolding doors comes with a professionally applied colour with a 10, 15 or 20-year guarantee depending on the colour and application.
Schuco products come in all manner of contemporary powder coated and anodised metallic finishes, giving you a contemporary looking bifolding door with durable, low-maintenance colours.
Powder-coated colours come in over 150 different colours as well as the latest generation of metallic shades, textured surfaces or a different colour inside and out.
Energy Efficiency
Building Regulations Part L require doors to have acceptable levels of thermal performance. The current version of the Building Regulations stipulates that doors require a U Value of no less than 2.00W/m2K for new builds and no less than 1.6W/m2K (or Window Energy Rating Band C) for doors replacing old products in existing homes.
The Schuco ASS70 sliding door surpasses these Building Regulations with U-Values as low as 1.3Wm2K, giving you a latest-generation door and helping reduce your energy bills.
