The Origin range of bifolding doors and windows comes expertly made in Origin’s advanced factory. To this East Ashling home, the owners are midway through an extensive property renovation. As seen from the images in this case study, showing the property before its full completion.

Our products include several sets of the market-leading Origin OB-49 bifolding doors. Origin bifolds are some of the slimmest on the market today. Elegant lines, some of the best hardware and components and the best manufacturing quality too. These are just some of its many benefits over other bifolding door products. Also provided are Origin residential doors to the side of the house. A full range of flush casement Origin OW-80 windows we also provided throughout the property.

Ultra-slim Origin bifolding doors

The OB-49 model comes with sightlines of just 110mm with the doors in the closed position. As a result, these bifolds provide less visible aluminium, bigger glass sizes and altogether better views.

The doors come with insulated premium-grade aluminium and a marine-grade powder coated finish. Also with those doors is colour matched handles, hinges and running gear.

Only Origin offers the facility to colour match the entire door set. The doors are sleeker looking without the more visible hinges of other bifolds often coming in a silver finish.

For the glass, we’ve used toughened safety glass in all doors and low-level glazing. Highly insulated glass units have a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill.

To meet Building Regulations the doors also come with trickle vents to the head.

Finally, we’ve built in added functionality to the bifolds. Bifolding doors have the convenient traffic door, enabling easy entry and exit without having to fold all the panels back. This leaf works just like a regular door which is ideal for regular access all year round.

Matching the Origin bifolds is a single residential door in the same modern colour. Here, the design is fully glazed and with a premium grade black door handle.

Origin OW-80 casement windows

The Origin window is unique in style, construction, quality and how it looks. One of the first fully flush aluminium windows on the market with a unique look. Origin windows have some the best, highly-insulated frames and high specification glass units.

It’s the hardware on Origin windows that makes them stand out. Origin windows come with the trusted Yale name and Encloser locking system with bi-directional bolts. The Yale brand is another benefit to choosing Origin windows.

The glazing beads are on the inside preventing removal of the glass from outside. Internally you’ll find colour-matched locking window handles.

Throughout the property, we’ve installed modern looking windows. Most come as single windows or multiple panel windows with a side-hung opening out design.
